Montebello Islands 7 day fishing charter – Week 7 

Another great week of fishing at the Montebello Islands is complete. The weather for the first few days of the charter was great however it was a little windy the last few days. 

This 7 day fishing charter gave us some interesting catches. We tagged and released 3 sailfish over the week. We also caught a yellow fin tuna, wahoo and spanish mackerel.

We landed a few small GTs (Giant Trevally) up to around the 20 kg range. There was also plenty of coronation trout. During this 7 day fishing charter we caught a few amberjack and a blue fin trevelly to finish the week. 

We are now 7 weeks into our 2015 Montebello Islands fishing season and are loving it up here. It’s been a great season to date with some typically great Monties weather and some serious fishing. We are looking forward to the rest of the season and all it has to offer.
